A Hui street vendor in North West China. The Hui are a Chinese minority group that are Muslim. Although it can not be seen here, he is selling live Scorpions and that bucket has maybe 200 of them climbing over each other. I have never tried it, but I am told that the stings from the Scorpions relief Arthritis when they are allowed to sting in the affected area. Not so sure that is a remedy I am ready to run out and try soon.

Nice shot, as always. And informative – I didn’t know there were muslims in China.
